Can you beat Knight Artorias with a sorcery build?
When Dark Souls was new, many fortnites ago, I got a question from a colleague. We were both huge Dark Souls fans and used to discuss various elements of the game by the coffee machine. He said he had tried to fight Knight Artorias with a sorcery build. For those who don't know, a sorcery build is when you invest heavily into intelligence when levelling up your character, as sorcery scales extremely well with intelligence.
On the subway home that day I thought I'd give it a try. So I started a fresh character, with the goal of doing everything I could to strengthen sorcery. By the time I reached Knight Artorias I would be as strong as I possibly could be as a sorcerer. I got armor that improved spell casting. Rings. Staffs. Talismans. And poured tons of stats into intelligence.
When I finally reached Knight Artorias I was quite scared walking in. This is one of the harder bosses. Very fast. Hard to read attacks. To my surprise I beat him. Using only sorcery. First try. Without taking any damage. Here's the video.

As I returned to work the next day I showed my colleague the video, explained how easy it was, and said I didn't understand his problems (I was lying). Truth is, I was using very effective sorceries, yes. But the real reason I cleared it first try without taking any damage is probably that I had practiced this boss many, many times not long before I attempted this particular challenge.
